tweak and twang

Sergio came over yesterday and laid all the wiring for what will be many powered music making appliances. After initially thinking we would just put a GPO socket on the outside, I have decided to have the container hardwired on it’s own circuit. The middle photo is the line running up to the roof of the box which is where the line from the house will connect.

Here it is, the reinforced roof of the container and the space for the awesome box window that will be my connection to the outside world. Note the passive air input vents.. breathing is a must! I can’t wait to be making some music and looking out to see my wee one digging in the garden.

So, the shipping container for our studio has finally arrived. The design plan is locked down and the frame has been reinforced thanks to Jason and his arc welder! The real building starts this week with Jase finishing all the external cutting on Monday and the electricians lines being laid on Tuesday…
